What’s your pleasure?  The restaurants of El Yaque offer a diverse and varied selection of cuisines to discover and enjoy – all within walking distance of Oceano. 

Café Local, situated right on the beach, with the spectacular windsurfers and kite surfers as a backdrop, offers a diverse menu of Thai cuisine, fresh fish and seafood, as well as hearty meat dishes.  For a romantic setting or just a change of pace, dine on Café Local’s terrace, which overlooks the beach and ocean.

Enrico’s, a lively and usually crowded pizzeria, situated on the main street, serves up awesome thin crust pizza, Italian pasta dishes, as well as artfully prepared seafood dishes.  For those who prefer their food ‘piquante’, be sure ask for Enrico’s specially prepared olive oil.

Gabi’s Grill and Voodoo Lounge is a one-stop evening out, with a restaurant as well as an outdoor bar, with great music, pool tables, shuffle board, and evenings with live music.  The restaurant, Gabi’s Grill offers delicious, smoky barbeque, great Mexican food, fresh fish and seafood, as well as hamburgers with French fries.  A delicious dining experience enhanced by great Blues music.

Mobu is so popular that a line of patrons starts forming before the restaurant is even open for business.  Located behind Hotel California, Mobu’s pizza and pasta dishes are famous for their taste and their size.  Tables nestled under a churuatta, with soothing music playing in the background, coupled with mouthwatering aromas drifting out of the pizza oven – all of this creates a wonderful ambience for an evening out with friends.

Each of the beachside hotels also provides restaurants to be enjoyed.  The Ipanema Café within the Windsurfer’s Paradise is situated on a lovely terrace that overlooks the ocean.  Hotel California’s restaurant offers delicious Italian food.  Shark’s restaurant at Casa Viva hosts a great Happy Hour each day, and offers delicious local fare.
